Daily Health Check

It is important for students to have a Daily Health Check done prior to coming to school. This will help to prevent the spread of illness at school.

At this time, parents are asked to screen children daily for the following potential COVID symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Cough or worsening of chronic cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of sense of smell or taste
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea and vomiting

The following symptoms have been removed from the daily health checklist:

  • Sore throat
  • Runny/stuffy nose
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of appetite
  • Muscle aches
  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
  • Dizziness, confusion
  • Abdominal pain
  • Skin rash or discolouration of fingers and toes

Of course, we request that children do not come to school sick so that we can limit the spread of non-COVID-like illness in the classroom. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
