POLICE CHECK REQUIRED

All WRCA volunteers require a current criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check, on file at the school. CRCs are valid for 4 years. Criminal record checks can be completed in two ways: in-person or online.

In-person: Checks are conducted at the local RCMP office in the city your family resides (14355 57 Ave, Surrey for Surrey residents and 15299 Pacific Ave, White Rock for White Rock residents).

Bring two pieces of government ID for the check. A fee waiver letter may be obtained from the WRCA front office prior to your in-person check. If you have a CRC from an organization you already volunteer at, this can also be used.

Online: CRCs can be conducted online using the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP) Applicant Based Online Service. You will be asked for an access code. There is no cost to the applicant. Please check the “Volunteering at WRCA” section of the Friday Parent Newsletter on how you can apply online and access code information.
