WRCA Uniform Store (Gently Used):

Special Note: If you are still waiting for school uniform orders:

• Junior School: Please wear a blue polo/shirt and grey pants that closely approximate the school uniform colors.
• Senior School: Please wear a white collared top, and grey pants or knee-length skirt.

The uniform store has sample new uniform pieces in various sizes. Students are welcome to try these on to find the right fit prior to ordering online. The store also has a variety of gently used stock available for purchase at a discount. All proceeds go towards the WRCA Benevolent Fund.

• All * items must be purchased from an approved WRCA vendor and itemized list. Click HERE for the itemized list.
• Senior School neck ties are available at the WRCA Uniform Store for $30.00. They can be purchased from the front office or uniform store for $30.00. Contact uniforms@wrca.ca for more information.
• Students must wear their uniform in good repair. No rips or tears. Skirt lengths must not be hemmed above the knee, and black bicycle shorts must be worn under the skirt when wearing knee high socks. Knee high socks must be worn properly and may not be slouched around the ankles. Pant length may not reveal the sock while at rest in standing position.
• During colder weather students may add a navy or all black non-branded, non-adorned jacket in addition to one of the Optional Authorized Wear listed above.
• Formal uniform is required for performances, some assemblies and other days as specified by the school. Hair accessories may be navy or grey.
• If changes are made to the school uniform expectations, parents and students will be given up to 6 months to purchase and comply with uniform expectations.
• Like most retailers, closures of factories due to COVID-19 have affected worldwide supply chains, and WRCA Administration is aware of these supply issues. Please visit the supplier websites at a later time if you are unable to order uniforms today. They are working to resolve these shortages as soon as possible.
• Please ensure that all clothing and uniform pieces for your children are labelled with their first and last names, so that they may be claimed at the Lost and Found (Main Office) when lost.
• The school will declare some days to be non-uniform or special dress days. Students not fully participating in these days must abide by regular uniform expectations.

All students are required to wear the school uniform.

All * uniform items must be purchased from a WRCA approved vendor; similar items purchased from other vendors are not permitted.

Staff will be required to conduct uniform checks as directed. Students not wearing the school uniform properly will be required to purchase a proper uniform item. Additionally students not wearing the school uniform correctly will receive the following consequences:

• First offence – a warning letter sent home to parents
• Second offence – the student will serve a lunch time detention
• Third offence – the student will serve an after school detention and a meeting with parents and a principal will be required
• Fourth and subsequent offences – will be treated as a behaviour issue and the Discipline Policy will apply.
• Intentional defiant breaches of the uniform policy at any time, will be treated as a fourth offence and the Discipline Policy 1201 will apply.

Uniform Store and Suppliers

• All uniform purchases can be made online at the listed suppliers, which include sizing charts and tables. Please see below (Uniform Suppliers) for more information.
• Any donations of uniform items with the current logo, especially navy polos, would be greatly appreciated. These can be donated to the gently used store ASAP and funds raised will go toward our benevolent fund that supports families within our school.
• Parents may source a navy polo from the community, but it will not be acceptable once Canuck Volleyball can replenish their stock.

Notes:

• When ordering from M&S, please check the whole Marks & Spencer website for more information.
• If you would like to order one or two items from M&S, please visit our Facebook page or email uniforms@wrca.ca to connect with other parents to reduce shipping costs.
• The styles are available in regular, slim, adaptive, longer length and plus fit sizes. Uniform bottoms (ie. Pants, shorts and skirts) to be purchased in the color GREY, not charcoal, from the website. Material sensitive options are available too.
• Please note that M&S sizes tends to fit a little on the smaller side. It may be in your best interest to go up a size if you are uncertain.
• Orders are usually delivered within 4-7 business days. If items are marked ‘out of stock’, M/S states that they restock every 7-10 days. Sizes are based on age (UK sizing) so please look at the sizing chart. Age sizing goes up to age 18.

M&S REFUND REQUEST:
How to get a free (or limited fee) refund by sending it to M&S Ontario instead of the UK.

• In the “Contact Us” section, select “By email: Click Here”
• In the questions section, select “How do I return an item?”
• Select “I still need more help” at the bottom.
• Complete the form.
• The M&S customer service team will then email a Canada post return label to you that ships to Ontario.

Please note that Paddle Vancouver by Oddball in partnership with Canuck Volleyball will be packing and sending your orders directly to the school for pickup twice a month.
