Destination Imagination (DI) Summer Camps

Get started on learning the skills to reach for Global Finals! Expect a week of being immersed in a creative space to foster your imagination and create and imagine with friends to solve STEAM challenges.

Three camps will be offered this summer:

  • WRCA DI Camp#1: July 6-10: 9am-12pm
  • WRCA DI Camp#2: July 6-10: 12:30pm -3:30pm
  • WRCA DI Camp#3: July 20-24: 10am-1pm

The camp focuses on the global Destination Imagination (DI) framework, seamlessly blending science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) with creative ways to solve open-ended challenges.

Spark your inner innovator this summer at DI Camp through thrilling hands-on STEAM projects, instant challenges, and team activities! It is the perfect place to turn wild imagination into creative solutions and build friendships that last.

All team leaders have previous DI experience and are dedicated to fostering critical thinking, instant improv skills, and collaborative teamwork. Empowering participants to become truly confident in everything they do.

Workshop Facilitators:

  • Iris Kalbfleisch, 10 years as Team Manager and have taken teams 4 times to Global Finals.
  • Rachel Kennedy, Past WRCA DI Club Leader and 2 times Global Finals Participant with 3rd place placement at Global Finals!
