Basketball Camp
WRCA Summer Basketball Camps

- Camp will be divided into three age groups with emphasis on fundamentals and making basketball fun.
- All coaches are trained professionally and will be focused on making your son/daughter make major improvements over the week.
- Each day will start with a devotion, be building the players conditioning and overall fitness and stress good fundamentals.

Camp 1: Fundamentals
July 6-10 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm
- Hour 1: Ball Handling – Emphasis on using both hands, 1 on 1 moves, 2 ball dribbling, obstacle and cone work, contests
- Hour 2: Shooting – Emphasis on Left and Right finishing, floaters, jump shots, form shooting, contests
- Hour 3: Scrimmaging and Fastbreak – Emphasis on full court passing, back door passing, 3 man play, fast break, proper spacing and cutting and 5 on 5
Camp 2: Shooting
July 20-24 from 10am to 1pm
- Hour 1: Shooting Form and Close in Finishing – Emphasis on using both hands, working on touch
- Hour 2: Shooting off the Dribble – Emphasis on Left and Right finishing, floaters, jump shots, proper footwork to get your shot off
- Hour 3: Shooting Sheets – Warrior Shooting Sheets, developing a daily routine that guarantees increased shooting %
Camp 3: Intensity – Point Guard and Wing Emphasis
August 10-14 from 10am to 1pm
- Hour 1: Ball Handling – Developing all around ball handling skills, moves and counter moves to beat defender
- Hour 2: Shooting off the Wing – learning the 5 moves to counter any defense in guarding the screen n roll
- Hour 3: 2 on 2 , 3 on 3- training players to read and react on away from ball screen action including flairs, hand offs and pin screens
