Thank you for taking a moment, in the midst of life’s busyness, to read this message.
I’m so excited to include you in the dreaming, anticipation, and momentum of our Better Together Campaign! Welcome to the adventure of being part of a God-honouring story.
Why “Better Together”?
With all my heart, I believe God has created each one of us with unique gifts to partner with Him for His glory as we tell His story. The Better Together Campaign is an invitation for you to prayerfully consider how you can partner with the vision of WRCA – to inspire and cultivate citizens of godly character who transform their world for Christ.
While this campaign includes a financial goal, our deepest hope is that as you prayerfully consider your partnership with WRCA, you will experience the joy of being led by God into transformational partnership through prayer, service, and finances as you fulfill the “puzzle piece” of our story that only you can fulfill.
You are invited to join us in trusting God for this miracle of raising $1.2 million, not only for our children today, but for the generations to come, just as many partners have faithfully done before us.
We are Better Together: when we pray, partner, and celebrate together.

Our Campaign
The Outdoor Athletics Complex is a significant milestone in our strategic plan. This $3 million dollar complex was funded by your generous donations of $1.8 million and $1.2 million in financing. By partnering with us to pay back the $1.2 million loan you are:
- Investing in WRCA’s vision, in our children, and in God’s kingdom work through this school
- Creating momentum as we begin to dream and plan the next chapter of WRCA’s strategic plan
- Saving approximately $60,000 each year in interest (resources that can be redirected into advancing our mission).
Our Better Together Campaign is about our school community uniting around a shared goal. By partnering together, like pieces of a puzzle, we form a beautiful, God-honoring legacy.
- A puzzle board displayed at the school will represent the $1.2 million goal.
- Each time we reach $1,000 through immediate or pledged gifts, a puzzle piece will be added to our twelve-hundred-piece puzzle.
- Each piece is a visible reminder that our community is building and owning this story together.

Our vision is to inspire and cultivate citizens of Godly character who transform their world for Christ. For this to be true, every student needs to feel a deep sense of belonging. Belonging is more than just being part of a school – it’s about creating spaces where every child is known, supported, and able to thrive.
Because of your generosity, in May 2025 we celebrated the opening of our Outdoor Athletics Complex, a space that is alive with energy, growth, and community as sports and play come together.
Your partnership has made a significant impact in helping us reach this strategic goal, providing:
- A fun and safe place for recess, teamwork, and play
- Expanded space for PE classes across all grades
- Excellent facilities for team practices and training
- A welcoming gathering space for community events

- $10,000+ : Your family’s name will be added to the donor wall, and you will receive an invitation to our annual donor thank you event.
- $25,000+ : Your family’s name will be added to the donor wall, and you will receive an invitation to our annual donor thank you event.

Can You Turn Your Volunteer Hours into Dollars?
Many companies donate to nonprofits when their employees volunteer — this is called a ‘Volunteer Grant’ or ‘Dollars for Doers’. For every hour you give, your employer may give too! Ask your HR or benefits team if your company has a Volunteer Grant or Matching Gift program.
