PARENTING SEMINAR

You are all invited to our last school year WRCA Parenting Workshop #4 called “Bring Them Closer… Our Kids, Anxiety, and Depression” with our guest speaker Connie Jakab, June 4th at 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the WRCA Senior Band Room upstairs in the New School!

The child and youth mental health crisis is at an all time high. Anxiety and depression are skyrocketing. Over the last 10 years there have been a 55% increase in the hospitalization of children and youth due to mental health concerns. Many parents are at a loss to know how to deal with some of the issues our children are displaying.

In this seminar, Connie Jakab shares her own personal journey of how her son went from being hospitalized due to threats of suicide at the young age of eight, to now having overcome anxiety and depression. “You never send the hurting away, you bring them closer,” but what does that LOOK LIKE? How do we create connection with our children so they live healed and whole? How do we see our children free of anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues? In the seminar you will leave with tools that can help your family overcome mental health challenges and prevent them from happening.

Cost is $5 at the door. ALL are welcome, so please feel free to invite people to this great event! 🙂

We look forward to seeing you on June 4th at 7:00!
