ARTS
In the arts program, our students glorify and worship God through creative and innovative expressions in visual art, drama, music ensembles, and musical theatre.
At the junior level, students are given opportunities to explore music through choral and instrumental instruction, local concerts, music festivals, and music theatre presentations. Senior students continue with vocal and instrumental training, participating in concert bands, jazz bands, vocal jazz, worship ensembles, and concert choirs. In IB Higher Level Music classes, students perform as soloists, write arrangements, or learn music sequencing and composition.
Numerous performance opportunities are given each year locally and internationally for senior students.
Our visual arts program inspires creativity and provides the space for exploration and growth with different medium.

ATHLETICS

Our athletic program is designed to introduce a core sport. Through discipline and adversity, students learn how to challenge themselves while overcoming obstacles, further contributing to their personal growth and development. Students, their parents and the surrounding communities have fully embraced the WRCA Warriors and our athletics program, continuing to show their support and commitment through their attendance, donations and volunteer activities.

MISSION AND SERVICE LEARNING (MSL)
In alignment with providing holistic education from a Biblical Christian worldview, students will develop a Biblical theology of missions and service in order to become more active and reflective participants in God’s redemptive work. MSL experiences will promote a greater understanding of one’s place in the world and the gifts that God has given to serve others. These experiences will be consistent with our Acts 1:8 MSL Framework, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” In addition, MSL trips are to be comprised of intercultural learning, devotional reflection, community building, partnering with organizations to develop projects and initiatives, and stretching or purposeful discomfort in a different local to global context.

Cultural Experience

Each grade gets to participate in many different cultural experiences by going on field trips such as: water parks; A-Rocha (conservation); Pumpkin patch farm; Terry fox run & over-night grade camps.
