Mission and Service Learning (MSL)

G6-8 students will develop MSL projects to be a light in the South Surrey/White Rock community.

G9 students will participate in a First Nations First Peoples MSL experience that explores our Christian and Canadian journey to reconciliation, starting in the 2019-2020 school year.

G9 students will still have the opportunity to participate in an optional MSL experience to Japan in the 2018-2019 school year.

G10 students will continue to participate in an optional MSL experience at the Global Christian Schools Network Gathering as we partner with other international Christian schools. We may look into another optional international MSL experience for G10 students.

All G11 students will participate in a trip to Guatemala to explore passion areas through their choice of “Streams”: health, social justice, business and leadership management, education, ministry, and infrastructure. This will replace the India trip option.

Student Spiritual Retreats (SSR)

A new Student Spiritual Retreat for G6-8 will replace SALTS and MOSS in September 2018.

Senior Athletes on Volleyball and Basketball teams will compete in high level North American and International tournaments depending on availability and feasibility, on an alternating rotation schedule: Basketball International trip and Volleyball Inter-Provincial trip (2020-2021 school year); Basketball Inter-Provincial trip and Volleyball International trip (2021-2022 school year).

We are thrilled to be able to offer these experiences!

Sincerely,
